We helped Spirax Sarco Australia produce this 1200 page monster in record time. The Australian version of the Handbook is produced using select pages from the European version. In only two weeks we took 1200 supplied PDFs grouped by product and composed them in a new document with new page numbering, section contents pages, headers and footers. This information also had to be masked or removed from supplied pages. We then designed the cover, contents, introduction and index pages. At the beginning of a task like this we take a breath and design a best possible workflow for the specific task, which is especially important when dealing with such a large number of pages, repetitive layout tasks and short production timeframe. In addition to the print version we mastered a ineractive CD. Spirax Sarco were delighted with the result.
