This project was developed for integration into a real-time web-based product configurator. I was responsible for modelling the bed frame and mattress in Modo, working from photo references to ensure form accuracy and brand consistency. The linen was simulated in Marvelous Designer, then retopologised into clean, optimised meshes for efficient real-time use.
To elevate the final visuals, I added the styling elements not required for the configurator but recreated to match the client's existing photography. While some props were purchased, I created custom textures to maintain visual coherence.
The final stills were rendered in Octane, using a physical daylight setup with modelled plantation shutters to filter natural light into soft, cinematic shadows. The result is a warm, lived-in aesthetic that mirrors architectural photography and is ideal for marketing, web, or print use.
This project highlights how 3D workflows can deliver both interactive configurator assets and polished marketing visuals—reducing time to market and offering exceptional visual control without needing physical prototypes or location shoots.
